State of UK Bats Publication 2011

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to draw your attention to the Bat Conservation Trust's annual publication called 'State of the UK's Bats, National Bat Monitoring Programme Population Trends 2011'. BCT formulate this statistical analysis from the records which are sent to them from Bat Groups, including us, across the country each year. It's worth a look at and it's nice to know that all our work out there on summer evenings, being bitten to death by midges, is being used.

One and Only Meeting of the year - don't miss it!

Hi all,

Our one and only official meeting will be held on the 13th February at 6:00 pm in the Art Centre, Aberystwyth. Meet upstairs in the Theatre bar; grab some food and drink on your way up and make yourself comfortable. We need to make some decisions about the summer programme so bring your diary along and some ideas. I'll try and keep it short I promise, so you can all get home to your nice cosy fires and cats - or maybe your partners!
